Ranvir and Konkona wed

Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma are reported to have exchanged marriage vows at a private ceremony.

A source for the Mumbai Mirror said that the actors wanted the event to take place away from the glare of the media.

The source revealed: "Most industry folks were not invited to this function. Konkona and Ranvir have always been very low-profile people and they are not likely to ever change."

Sharma confirmed the news on microblogging site Twitter: "Hey guys. Ranvir and I got married on the 3rd (September). Thanks for all the good wishes! Goodnight."

Sharma and Shorey have appeared together on screen in films such as Aaja Nachle and Mixed Doubles.

Sharing the big news on social media, the actor revealed that it is unimaginable to think of being separated from his kids during the lockdown. He posted a picture of Sussanne who has volunteered to move out of her residence temporarily and stay with Hrithik so that their children are not disconnected indefinitely from either one of them. 'While the world talks about humanity coming together, I think it represents more than just an idea especially for parents sharing custody of their kids.
